Why Early Access?

“I believe that the best version of this game is the one driven by user feedback. As such, I wanted to get the core game out to players as early as possible, so I can iterate on the balance and usability while weaving in new gameplay systems and content.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The initial Early Access estimate was blown, but the game has been rebooted with a new roadmap. The new expectation is to be at full release before 2025.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Please see our roadmap!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The currently available game is an old build made with the Unity game engine. The new version of the game, built with Godot, is now available as an opt-in beta. The plan is to get to feature parity with the old version and then expand the available content.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game experienced a price increase in late spring 2021. The price will not be increased further.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is the primary reason uFactory launched in early access. I want to hear your comments, your criticism, your compliments, your suggestions, your bug reports.

I know the best indie games tend to be the ones with the most robust communities, and I want to do everything I can to help foster that.
