What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Galaxy squad is a complex and hardcore game, and I need help of the community to test it out and improve all it's features before release. With community's support I plan to add regular updates with new content, and new gameplay systems to the game. There is a lot of features and game systems that I need to add, and I need community feedback every step of the way.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Galaxy squad will be in Early access from 4 to 6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Complete version of the game will include more events, story campaigns and more missions.
Full version will include all 6 mission types, a number of story campaigns, about 30 quests and systems like weapon modifications implemented in the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Alpha version. The game has basic events, station exploring, limited number of mission types, and no weapon modification systems implemented yet. Story campaigns are also not in the game yet.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the price will stay the same”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The gameplay features and game difficulty is not worked through yet, and I need a feedback about where to bring them in the future. Also valuable ideas like new events and mission types can be suggested by the community and I can bring it into the game. I need to to get basic gameplay of the game perfect, before adding additional, more complex systems, and I require community's help for that.”
