„As an indie developer, I already have experience of launching a game on Steam (The Last Patient). Then I was too hasty and put the unfinished product in Steam store, and did not receive sufficient feedback from the community. I don’t want to repeat my mistakes, that is why I need the early access. Space Agent has many prospects to become a really good game. I have many ideas that I would like to implement in the gameplay. But I need time and player’s feedback. Since the game is being developed on the GameGuru engine, which is regularly updated, the game will be constantly updated, improved and optimized. In September 2020, I will start to transfer the game to the new GameGuru Max engine, which will make it even better.”

„I have a lot of ideas. Until I realize everything that I want and that players will like, I won’t be able to release the game as a full-fledged product. The final version will not be released on the classic GameGuru, but on GameGuru Max. Transferring the game to a new engine also requires a lot of time. The game will definitely be in early access throughout 2020 and is unlikely to be released in early 2021.”

Czym różni się zaplanowana pełna wersja od tej z wczesnego dostępu?

„I plan to make Space Agent: 8 Artifacts a full-fledged multi-level game with a fully developed plot. My main task is to make each level unique and atmospheric, not like the previous ones. And also to finalize the plot so that it is interesting and complete. Remove bugs and modify the game according to the player’s feedback and my own ideas. There will be 17 levels in the game. Of these, 8 are basic, 8 are transitional (the base where player returns after each mission; each time new rooms and new dialogs open on the base) and the final level.”

Jaki jest obecny stan wersji z wczesnego dostępu?

„Now the game has 2 main full levels (where player must collect artifacts), 2 transitional level and the final level for this version (on the GameGuru Classic engine). There is the beginning of the plot, key characters and dialogues with them. Most likely, in the final version these levels will change and will be in a different order, but now you can see what the gameplay is like. However, the game may experience intermittent crashes, performance problems and lengthy downloads”

Czy cena gry ulegnie zmianie podczas i po wczesnym dostępie?

„The main development priority right now is to get as many player’s feedback as possible. The price will not change until moving to the new Game Guru Max engine. Later, the price will gradually increase - as new content is released.”

Jak zamierzacie włączyć społeczność w wasz proces tworzenia?

„My main mistake when launching my first game (The Last Patient) was my closeness and fear of the criticism by community. For no repeating the bad experience, this time I’ll try to be as open as possible to feedback and ideas. Also I plan to hold regular streams devoted to game development and its discussion with players. I will try to work specifically for my audience and listen carefully to people’s feedback.”
