¿Por qué ofreces acceso anticipado?

«As an indie developer, I already have experience of launching a game on Steam (The Last Patient). Then I was too hasty and put the unfinished product in Steam store, and did not receive sufficient feedback from the community. I don’t want to repeat my mistakes, that is why I need the early access. Space Agent has many prospects to become a really good game. I have many ideas that I would like to implement in the gameplay. But I need time and player’s feedback. Since the game is being developed on the GameGuru engine, which is regularly updated, the game will be constantly updated, improved and optimized. In September 2020, I will start to transfer the game to the new GameGuru Max engine, which will make it even better.»

¿Cuánto tiempo va a estar este juego en acceso anticipado aproximadamente?

«I have a lot of ideas. Until I realize everything that I want and that players will like, I won’t be able to release the game as a full-fledged product. The final version will not be released on the classic GameGuru, but on GameGuru Max. Transferring the game to a new engine also requires a lot of time. The game will definitely be in early access throughout 2020 and is unlikely to be released in early 2021.»

¿Qué diferencias habrá entre la versión completa y la versión de acceso anticipado?

«I plan to make Space Agent: 8 Artifacts a full-fledged multi-level game with a fully developed plot. My main task is to make each level unique and atmospheric, not like the previous ones. And also to finalize the plot so that it is interesting and complete. Remove bugs and modify the game according to the player’s feedback and my own ideas. There will be 17 levels in the game. Of these, 8 are basic, 8 are transitional (the base where player returns after each mission; each time new rooms and new dialogs open on the base) and the final level.»

¿Cuál es el estado actual de la versión de acceso anticipado?

«Now the game has 2 main full levels (where player must collect artifacts), 2 transitional level and the final level for this version (on the GameGuru Classic engine). There is the beginning of the plot, key characters and dialogues with them. Most likely, in the final version these levels will change and will be in a different order, but now you can see what the gameplay is like. However, the game may experience intermittent crashes, performance problems and lengthy downloads»

¿El precio del juego será diferente durante y después del acceso anticipado?

«The main development priority right now is to get as many player’s feedback as possible. The price will not change until moving to the new Game Guru Max engine. Later, the price will gradually increase - as new content is released.»

¿Cómo tienes planeado involucrar a la comunidad en tu proceso de desarrollo?

«My main mistake when launching my first game (The Last Patient) was my closeness and fear of the criticism by community. For no repeating the bad experience, this time I’ll try to be as open as possible to feedback and ideas. Also I plan to hold regular streams devoted to game development and its discussion with players. I will try to work specifically for my audience and listen carefully to people’s feedback.»

Plot: In 2322, humanity is at the peak of its power. The earth is fully explored, technology has reached its maximum. The humanity was eagerly anxious to unlock all the space secrets. While building aerospace research laboratory on Mars, scientists find the remains of an ancient civilization. It is not known exactly when it was destroyed, but it is clear that it possessed incredible power and knowledge far superior to human ones. In attempt to learn the power of the ancient Martians, people found out that before their civilization collapse, the Martians had enclosed all their knowledge in 8 artifacts, which then were dissolved in space and time. Trying to find these artifacts, earthlings use the full power of their technology to create the "STM" - a system of teleporters capable of transporting people through space and time. Thus, mankind has finally has got the treasured opportunity to get these great artifacts. You play as a Space Agent - the best of the best fighters on Earth. It is up to you to go through space and time in order to get the treasured artifacts for the future of whole humanity. Get ready, agent, the journey will be dangerous! And remember, humanity is counting on you!
