What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We decided to release the game on Early Access, because we think it's already fun and we would like to improve it and prioritize our development goals based on community feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will likely be in Early Access for at least a year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The finished game will have at least 6 levels, but we have plans for 8. We are aiming for 2-4 hours of gameplay in a story mode playthrough, with high replayability and extra content. The goal is to make it a fun playthrough for one sitting that people will want to come back to and try different things. The game will have at least 4 playable characters. There will be a gameplay feature to throw objects from the environment at enemies and we will add items such as weapons, food and temporary buffs to pick up from the levels. Most of the current and upcoming content will be more polished at the end of Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game currently has two levels, three playable characters and seven enemy characters. There is currently one versus mode level. Most of the basic gameplay and enemy AI is finished besides some character specific features. One playthrough of the main game currently lasts about one hour on average for a new player on normal difficulty based on playtests, but a more experienced player can speedrun it in under 15 minutes. The first level is very short compared to the second one, but it could be extended if it becomes popular with the community. Currently there are no real tutorials, but the first level is designed as a relatively soft landing into to the game as far is difficulty goes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the game is likely to increase slightly with more content.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have most of the game planned already, but community feedback could affect the prioritization of what should be implemented first in some cases. If the community finds certain parts of the levels more fun that others, it might affect our level design. Some of the planned features are questionable as to how much demand there is for them so community feedback is very valuable in this regard. We of course welcome any new ideas also.”
