Varför Early Access?

“The game is going to emphasize MMO, so early access is perfect for beta testing with large number of players. The goal for early access will be to fold player feedback (Game play elements) into the early development. There are going to be some very different game mechanics involved with the game which will require a broad range of player feedback. This feedback will be pivotal in "dialing in" the game mechanics in an attempt to optimize the "fun factor" for all actors involved in the game.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“An early estimate would be that the game will be in Early Access for one year. It will most probably take 6 months to properly exercise and optimize all of the various game systems and their in-game interplay and another 6 months to "polish" the game.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The full version will have the fully implemented player versus server game play component. When the full version of the game is released, the best game play experience will be on dedicated servers hosted by the player community. It is a goal of the PVS concept to provide the server owners with the ablitity to influence the game play experience of the client players. The server owner will be another type of gameplayer on the server - the server player. The PVS aspect of Rusty Tank is what will differentiate it from other MOM survival games.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The current state of the Early Access of the game is a set of sub games - (deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the flag). This version is designed to give players an example of the various combat mechanics that will be in the full/released version. This will be the basis for the increasing the scale of the game/game-servers, and the introduction of various modular updates that will add depth to the game.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“There will be little or no price difference between Early Access and release. Currently the price point is planneed to be very low to create as large of a player base as possible as early as possible. The plan is to make the game fun to play with many others, so that a low price will promote a "hey, come play this with me" situation that has a very small price barrier.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“I will use a dedicated Discord server to create a community meeting place for various game feedback and communication. I will employ "Like Game Server Advertising" to draw players, who share similar game interests, into the Discord community.”
