Halloween Sale - Mini-Dead was always free so there is no increase in value

Bad at Marketing

It's true! Here at Milo Games we are not good at marketing.

Mini-Dead is free and has always been free so when the Steam sale comes around it is completely unaffected. Therefore, if you download and play Mini-Dead right now you are, in a small way, losing value.

That said, it's bloody fun so give it a go.

Quick Note on DLC

Hey, so, I said I was going to have the DLC done by the end of the year but turns out I grossly under estimated how long this would take.

One boss is 90% done and I want the DLC pack to contain a good collection of 3 bosses + 1 secret boss. I cannot tell you when this will all be done as I can only work on it when I get the time. All I can do is keep you posted on progress.

Do you know what my biggest fear is? Not being relevant anymore and no one caring about my games. Hahhaha classic fear hahaha.

More Bosses + Future Plans

Hey

Firstly, 27k downloads?! I haven't had 27k of anything let alone downloads!

:deadember:

A lot of the criticism from Mini-Dead is that it's too short and that people want more bosses. I only ever wanted to add bosses if I could actually think of something good and meaningful. I've had a think and a jot down and I've read your comments and I think I got something figured out for what I want to do!

WHEN?
Not too soon, hopefully before Christmas. I have another game I need to finish first but once that's done I'll be moving onto development. I really want to go nuts with these new bosses and make them spectacular. And of course, it'll have secrets. One thing I'll confirm now, the secret WON'T be that you fight all of them at once.

HOW MUCH?
I want to release all three bosses as one expansion pack DLC. One thing I really don't want to do is turn Mini-Dead as a store front for bosses. I don't want to release individual bosses as DLC or start knocking up dumb excuses for extra content. If it isn't meaningful it's trash.

WHAT ARE THE BOSSES?
Fortune favours the patient. Things are really on track.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON NOW?
Oh you want me to...self promote? Well sure I can do that I guess. It's a big leap into 3D which is new for us but it's our spin on platforming. Remember levels? Remember how games used to have levels instead of open worlds? Yeah, I want that. We're making one really polished level and we'll be releasing it for free to see if people like it.

That's about it! Follow us on all the things to keep up with happenings.

About This Game

A small game about boss fights

Mini-Dead is a short but intense boss fighting game, using a simple but incredibly effective game mechanic that runs at 144 fps which is perfect for those who want to put their 144hz monitors to good use!

Three bosses stand in your way along with a fourth, secret fight.

Simple but effect game mechanic

The controls are simple.

You move with the mouse to dodge attacks.
Click and drag to create a piercing beam that damages enemies.
Release left mouse button to teleport to the end of the beam.

What better way to fight bosses than to use your mouse! The ultimate hardware for reflex based game play.

Why "Mini-Dead?"

Boss fights are cool. The feeling of overcoming a boss is pure bliss. Mini-Dead is a compressed, little brother of meatier game Dead.
