Forests of Augusta is a new take on the survival genre. Fast-paced rogue-like action combined with competing for the leaderboards, or just explore, build, craft at your own pace. You will have to hunt wild animals and craft consumables in order to stay alive after you've been exiled.

«We want Forests of Augusta to be the best game we can possibly make! That's why we want to have the base game out for the players so they can provide us with valuable feedback so we can make sure the base gameplay feels very polished before we continue on creating the campaign mode and exploration mode and other features like multiplayer.»

«The game will approximately be in early access for 5-6 Months from July 2022. We aim to go for full 1.0 release around December 2022-January 2023.»

- Balance changes compared to the early access versions
- Campaign mode (story missions)

«The current game build in Early Access is focussed on getting feedback around the core gameplay systems. We want the base gameplay to be as smooth as possible, especially the fast-paced combat and the survival-crafting loop. From there we will focus more on adding more content in the forms of more game modes like campaign/story and exploration mode which will make the game transition to additional non-rogue-like modes where you're character/account can progress instead of having to start over after you died.»

«We plan to involve the community by running weekly streams of the game and answering questions from the chat, on Twitch.tv. We also have a Discord server where players can post feedback and feature suggestions.

We will read very carefully through player feedback, and make balance changes and new features based on that feedback.

Furthermore, we will be running events on player streams to answer questions about the game and to listen to feedback!»

Forests of Augusta takes place in the forest where you will hunt wild animals and scavenge them for crafting materials. You will gather resources like wood, stone, iron to eventually build your own camp. You will have to defend your camp from wild animal attacks. With the gathered resources you can craft items like bows, arrows, potions and food.

Forests of Augusta is a new take on the survival genre. Even though, for now, the game is single player only, there is a competitive feel to the game as you compete for the leader boards.



You will accumulate score points for your actions while the game time is not yet over. After the game time has completed you will be presented with your final score and have the possibility to compete on the leader boards. After the game time is over you are still free to further explore the game.



Explore the maps at your own pace. Hunt on wild animals but also for treasure. Level up and allocate stat points to further enhance your play style. Hunt, build, craft and explore the way you want.



You will have to survive in the forests at night where skeletons invade the forest. You will acquire experience points and level up while enemies also endlessly become more and more powerful. You are able to allocate stat points to further enhance your play style! When you die you get to submit your level score to the leader boards.
