"The first installment of Polycity Stories will eventually be a 3 ACT game.

As this is being developed by a sole, indie developer, it takes time to create something I'm proud of, and something that customers will enjoy playing.

For that reason I'm releasing the complete ACT 1 of the game in Early Access, so that users can provide feedback on all aspects of the game to help me tailor and improve Act 2 and 3 whilst they are in development."

"I anticipate the game will be in early access for between 12-18 months as I collect feedback and reviews, and continue on with development of ACT 2 and 3."

"I hope to release the full version of the game once I have completed ACT 2 & 3, so that the entire story can be released as one.

The full storyline, puzzles and scripts are written for all 3 Acts, which includes some great twists and turns and trickier puzzles as you progress through. I'm hoping to gain feedback and insight from players for this early access release to tweak the final 2 acts and ensure the final game is enjoyed by all fans of this genre.

This should hopefully make the final game around 3 times as long as this current ACT 1, featuring the same high quality visuals , music and voice talent."

"The early access version provides a complete, polished, final quality version of the whole of Act 1 of the story, and provides between 2 - 5hrs of gameplay, depending on how much experience of point and click adventure games you have

It sets the scene, introduces the main characters and hopefully provides anticipation for the following acts."

"Yes. This early access price reflects the initial year or development that has gone into Act 1 of the game, producing an average gameplay time of around 2-3hrs.

Once the final 3 Act game is complete, I expect to raise the price to reflect the increased duration, scope and gameplay that will be presented."

Como vocês planejam envolver a comunidade durante o processo de desenvolvimento?

"There will be a discord server setup to collect feedback and constructive criticism during early access. There's also a facebook page to allow players without discord to get in touch.

I care about people's opinions, and want to tailor the final game to be a great experience for all point and click adventure fans.

Through Discord I will also be offering exciting opportunities for early access owners to get involved in act 2 and 3, and have their name appear ingame or even a complete character built for you.

Many point and click adventure game fans, have always wanted to make something of their own will be encouraged to share ideas and get involved. I hope to build a great community around this game and the game world of poly city with a view to creating other interconnected stories in the future."
