Space Orb

The player controls the orb and has to navigate the different levels with a special gravity system. The levels gradually gets harder and as the player progresses more objects and obstacles is introduced to the player. The objective of the game is to collect space energy.

Wozu Early Access?

„We decided to release our game in early access for 2 reasons.
First of we wanted to get the game in the hands of the players so they can help decide in which way we will be taking this game and what sort of features we will be implementing in the future.
The second thing is we have plenty of things and ideas we wanna implent in the game. As of now we already have a good base game to build on top of.“

Wie lange wird dieses Spiel ungefähr den Early Access-Status haben?

„We expect the game to be in early access for about 6 months and the full release is expected around first half of 2019.“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„We would like to continuously improve and update the game. With the feedback we get from the community we will look into making new features and general improvements to our game.
Some of the things we would like to add in the future is.
• More modes
• Multiplayer
• More features and obstacles for the players to overcome
• More skins“

„Current content of the game adventure mode includes
• 75 levels
• 15 bonus levels
• Different types of enemies
• Teleporters
• Laser grids
• Colletible items
• 6 environments“

„When we are developing the game the price tag won’t go up. We expect to raise the price tag about 50% when the game is fully done. This will be announced well in advance of the changes taking affect.“

Wie werden Sie versuchen die Community in den Entwicklungsprozess miteinzubeziehen?

„To involve the community as much as possible we have a game site at here we will be doing weekly/monthly updates of our progress with the game so people can stay informed. People will be able to leave comments and feedback on the updates. They can contact us by mail and we will be setting up a forum. On the forum people can submit bugs, ideas and just have general discussions about the game.“

Story
Space Orb is a game about “Bib” Bib is an orb that travels the universe to collect resources for his home planet. In his adventures Bib has to overcome a lot of different obstacles to find the space energy he needs to activate the portal for the next location. In his adventures Bib comes across a lot of amazing locations and different types of planets.

Gameplay
The player controls the orb and has to navigate the different levels with a special gravity system. The levels gradually gets harder and as the player progresses more objects and obstacles is introduced to the player. The objective of the game is to collect space energy. When enough space energy is collected the portal will be activated and when the player moves through the portal it will take the player to the next level.

Modes
The game will include several modes.
Adventure mode: This is the main mode were the player will have to get through the levels that gradually becomes harder and harder.
Extreme mode: In this mode the player have a limited amount of lives. The player can choose between 1, 5 or 10 lives at the beginning. If the player uses all of his lives it’s game over. (under development)
Fun mode: This mode is currently on the drawing board. This mode will be similar to adventure however the levels will include different good/bad powerups. These will make it more fun and interesting to get through the leves.
