Why Early Access?

“In order to uphold the release date we've set ("before ww3") and to incorporate the community in experiencing the game during the development process, we've decided to go Early Access. We hope that EA will give us valuable feedback and help us improve the game, as well as to drive development forward.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to release the final version in one year after EA release, ideally within 2022.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan on extending the story content further. We are also planning on additional gameplay elements to help flesh out the combat.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Unconventional Warfare is a real-time tactics game where you currently control up to 5 characters, whom you can equip with 20+ different firearms and several pieces of protective equipment. The game also features a narrative with fun and interesting characters, with cutscenes throughout the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The initial Early Access price will be about 50% of the final release price. We plan to gradually raise the price as new acts are added, reaching the target price we've set since crowdfunding.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We listen to and read all feedback that we receive and we are always eager to hear from our community. UW has been under development for over two years and the community feedback has helped shape the game you see today.
We regularly respond to people on our Steam forum page and are always ready to help with bug fixes and to listen to comments that you might have about Unconventional Warfare.
