Why Early Access?

“I have run an Early Access period for both of my previous games. During that time I try to bring in as much feedback about the game as possible and in General I respond to it all. My goal is to build a game the people love, to do that I need your help and your feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“6-8 Months is the goal at this time. This may change as feedback rolls in :)”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“More everything!

More Levels: At the start of Early Access there will be 2 levels, there will be 8 by full release.
More Classes: At the start of Early Access there will be 5 classes, at full release there will be 8;
More talents: There will be about 100 different talent options when EA starts, by full release there will be 250+
More Skills: There will be about 50 skills in the game when EA starts, by full release I expect there to be 150+
Simply more everything... More guild rooms, more systems, more UI elements, more gear sets, etc...

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable, and the first 2 levels are in the game. I do expect there to be bugs, though I have been working hard to fix the ones I have found. The UI is functional but it will take time to really polish it up well.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I am not 100% sure here. It will either stay the same or increase by a tier or so.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Yes, very much so! That is the largest reason for me to do EA for this game. I am very active and responsive when it comes to feedback and I welcome it all good and bad!”

About This Game

Be the Guildmaster you were meant to be and lead your guild from a failing group of has-beens into an unstoppable force of powerful heroes that are praised by thy friends and feared by thy enemies. Govern everything from guild contracts, hero wounds, resource management, guild rivalries, and guild member satisfaction. Not to forget, Guild realm politics between nobles and the crown itself!

As a top-down strategy RPG, Guilds of Delenar brings a new perspective for the genre by allowing you to create and take control of various guild heroes and customize or level up however you want. As the guildmaster, fight for control of towns by managing your heroes gear, taking on a plethora of quests, and commanding your warriors in tactical turn-based battles.

It’s all in your hands! Will you create a guild that helps the common folk? one that seeks to root out evil? or one hell bent on destroying the competition? The choice is yours.

Grow your guild from a rag tag group of low level weaklings into a regional powerhouse.
Hire and manage a variety of heroes.
Compete with the existing guilds in each town for superiority.
Fight off marauding parties that plague each town.
Send parties of your guildies to complete quests for the townsfolk.
Gear out your guild with Epic Loots from the procedually generated gear system.
Customize each hero through multiple talent trees.
