„Pizza Delivery 3000 has been the programming effort of a solo developer. It was decided Early Access was the path that would allow me to build a community and capture feedback from the beginning of games development, while limited to working on the game over the course of weekends and evenings, working another full time job to pay the bills - ironically enough in a pizza kitchen!“

„UPDATED MARCH 2025 - The game will continue to remain in Early Access until gameplay mechanics have been reworked, more content is added and the overall game loop has reached a level of polish and fun for it to be deemed a complete game.

Pizza Delivery 3000 is NOT CURRENTLY under active development.

Work on the game is currently suspended until sometime later in 2025

WHY? - The game launched in Early Access back in 2017 and quite simply has not paid the bills or received the positive feedback required to justify continued full time development.“

„The full release version of the game will take our core Early Access foundation, and greatly expand upon it. Our goal is to vastly increase the size of the game world while adding more detail and implementing some extra gameplay systems to help take a currently static world and make it much more dynamic and intriguing for the player.“

„A full vertical slice of the core game loop with the ability to:

SAVE and RESUME your current delivery career.
Make deliveries over multiple days using a day to night cycle and shift progression.

THE VISION -

Strap in tight - you play a delivery driver in a town where pizza has been outlawed. Blast your way through the local robot police force or use speed and wit to avoid their detection as you race against the clock to deliver to hungry townsfolk their favorite, forbidden cheesy meal.

GAMEPLAY -

Make deliveries in your hovercraft, which can be upgraded over time using tip money.
Race against the clock, collecting higher tips the faster you safely deliver a pizza.
Outrun and outwit the local robot police force or use your weapons to blast them enroute to your delivery.
Learn to navigate your way through a small town that expands as you progress in your mastery of the game.
Search for pages from the lost “Book of Za” to unlock powerful upgrades.
Collect supplies along the way to upgrade the kitchen and continue the flow of forbidden za.
