Miksi Early Access?

Pizza Delivery 3000 has been the programming effort of a solo developer. It was decided Early Access was the path that would allow me to build a community and capture feedback from the beginning of games development, while limited to working on the game over the course of weekends and evenings, working another full time job to pay the bills - ironically enough in a pizza kitchen!

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

UPDATED MARCH 2025 - The game will continue to remain in Early Access until gameplay mechanics have been reworked, more content is added and the overall game loop has reached a level of polish and fun for it to be deemed a complete game.

IMPORTANT NOTE FROM THE DEVELOPER

Pizza Delivery 3000 is NOT CURRENTLY under active development.

• Work on the game is currently suspended until sometime later in 2025

WHY? - The game launched in Early Access back in 2017 and quite simply has not paid the bills or received the positive feedback required to justify continued full time development.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full release version of the game will take our core Early Access foundation, and greatly expand upon it. Our goal is to vastly increase the size of the game world while adding more detail and implementing some extra gameplay systems to help take a currently static world and make it much more dynamic and intriguing for the player.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

A full vertical slice of the core game loop with the ability to:

• SAVE and RESUME your current delivery career.
  
• Make deliveries over multiple days using a day to night cycle and shift progression.
  
• Spend your tip money in order to purchase upgrades for the DeliveryCraft.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

Yes. The price will increase once the amount of playable content and the fun factor of the gameplay reach the vision was originally intended when the project started.
