What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“When working with VR: Vacate the Room and VRemin i had a very good experience with the Steam community. We worked out a few Features that i would never have though of alone.

And we also found a few bugs.

I hope we can get this working like that again with this little fun game that i loved since the C64 ;)”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About 3 months ...”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Depending on users feedback i am expecting to have a few more features in the game. A single player mode could be considered, maybe powerups or a temporary speed boost for tactical purposes.

Maybe more matches and configurations would make sense, maybe a Tournament mode might be a worthy addition.

In short: More fun!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently the game features the standard Deathmatch mode. You play with a friend on a single keyboard and on a single screen.

Try to avoid the walls and your opponents pixel trails. And try also to catch you opponent with the walls that you create.

The game right now is very simple and very fast. No loading screens, no effects. Just a fast starting game to have a quick match. Almost exactly as games were in the C64 era.

It works. Have fun.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“A little more expensive.

But not much.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Involving the community was very important in developing my other games. The feedback helped to make the games better.

So I would love to hear your suggestions.”

It's a little bit like when we played on the old Commodore C64.
Just a simple fun game to get two friends screaming at each other.
