Varför Early Access?

“Growing up with the fondest memories of begging family members for us to go over and play their NES, to spending 80% of our allowances on 90's arcade light gun games, to grinding to 100% in MGS: VR missions, and who hasn't had a personal moment where they wished they had their own X-Men style Danger Room? Inspired by the experiences of the bygone days, our vision to create a platform where all of our virtual pistol slinging fantasies, and VR worlds would come to exist.

Our dream is to create the future of VR arcade shooters. The current build of DoubleTap is our humble entry into that dream. It isn't yet perfected, but we're working continuously towards that goal. DoubleTap is available in it's current build as we continue to develop rich new content and features. We really we want your feedback to make sure we're making an awesome game that Players find fun, new, and exciting.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“Early Access will only last for a few months, with updates sprinkled in with the new content we're working on. The launch of the full game will be early Spring 2018.”

“The full version of DoubleTap will include many, many more stages and developed assets. We will continue working to improve the UI and menu navigation. A massive goal for us is to introduce online leaderboards as well as multiplayer (since everyone probably thinks they are the John Wick of their crew, this is our answer on how to figure that out... safely). We will work to update the Early Access build with new content as it's completed!”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The current build includes 16 unique Stages for Players to experience in an Arcade and Freeplay mode, with more stages, modes, and features to be brought in through updates during the Early Access period! We would be safe to say the Early Access build is about 30.567% complete. So please be patient with us as we continue to work hard at this, and please provide feedback as we continue to build this game up to Morpheus vs. Neo training scenario quality!”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We do plan a price increase once the game is released in full. Not by a huge margin, but this will depend on costs during the remainder of the development cycle. However, once you purchase a DoubleTap license, we will not charge anything more for any new and expanded content. This is naturally in respect for the industry and those who would support us during the Early Access.”

“This is probably the most important piece to communicate, but community feedback is incredibly valuable to us and it is undeniably crucial to making sure we make the right steps in the completion of DoubleTap.
