Ip Man
Born and raised in the years between the two world wars, young Ip Man (Kevin Cheng) finds his luck in the martial arts arenas of Canton. There, he meets the first Wing Chun Master, Fung-Kau (Rongguang Yu), and his childhood love Cheung Wing-sing (Cecila Han).

Ip Man wants to be Fung-Kau's disciple but he's only willing to teach him martial arts. Meanwhile, IP Man reunites with his childhood love Wing-Shing and learns that Ching-Shan is working for the government.

Marshal Chu asks Fung-Kau to fight for him on stage in exchange for great rewards but Fung-Kau refuses. Ip Man and Wing-Shing overhear a quarrel between the warlords at Marshal Chu's banquet.

To everyone's shock, Marshal Chu announces that he will marry his daughter to Ching-Shan. Yan-Chiu and Brother Lo enter the final round together, while a disguised killer approaches Yam-Tong.

Ching-Shan gives Wing-Shing Marshal Lo and the north's secret agreement. A group of students and Wing-Shing go after Marshal Lo. Ip Man defeats Tseung Sing thanks to Wah-Shun's "Wing Chun" technique.

Ip Man discovers that Chin-Shan and Pak-Lam have been conspiring together. Wing-Shing admits her love to IP Man. Zi reveals that he is Wah-Sung's son and leaves when his father refuses to teach him Wing Chun.
