Why Early Access?

We wanted the opportunity to co-develop our title along with a live audience that will allow us to deliver a unique internet searching and browsing experience. We hope to continue the journey of development in Early Access and make something our users love.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“Drop's plan for release is an ongoing process as we are constantly adding new features and making U/I customizations to the environment. When we believe the title is complete, we will release the full version in 1-3 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version we will have a more polished U/I with the ability to select new searching environments. For example:

Listen to music while browsing
Smarter user identification sign on using gmail or other social media outlets
Smoother UI flow from searching to browsing and navigating the entire environments features and more to be included that will be core to the user experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Today, Drop is an immersive internet searching and browsing experience. It is playable on a daily basis with no game breaking bugs. There are some areas in the environment that could use some polishing and U/I that are not integral to the core search.”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase after Early Access, but that is still to be determined.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is a vital part of our development process. We announce any planned features in advance so we have time to read and incorporate the user feedback. Community suggested ideas are commonly brought up in internal team meetings and we value highly each user’s input.”
