Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« End of Days is currently being developed solely by me, Starkium. End of Days is also being funded out of my pocket. I can't currently focus my full attention on this project as I have to work and improve my skillset.

For some added context, I originally put End of Days up on steam 3 months after I started learning how to do game development in 2017. It's been a wild ride since then and I am now a full time game developer. However, in that time End of Days went through development hell due to my inexperience. I've rewritten EoD 7 times from the ground up now, continually changed the art style, and battled to get all VR devices working. The project I have on my dev machine here looks nothing like what is currently shown in the images or trailers. I'm working hard to correct that. I'm planning on replacing everything ASAP. Everything is going to change, but it will be so much better. :) »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« End of Days will move out of Early Access once I feel enough of the game is in place to justify it being a full game and not a tech demo.

I apologize to anyone who has waited to see updates happen. Your patience will be greatly rewarded. I have everyone who has purchased this game and beta tested for free on a list. I'm going to set up something special for you. »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« The full version of End of Days is intended to have the following:

• Several game modes
  
• VR and Non VR cross play
  
• Workshop support ( or mod.io support )
  
• Have an underlying story/world lore
  
• Customization options
  
• Support all VR platforms (fingers crossed)
  
• Crafting to some degree
  
• Run well on min spec machines (this is dependent on how UE5 turns out)

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« End of Days at current can be considered a dev sandbox with maps/modes for testers. I'd like to keep as much transparency as possible so I'll be including everything that's being worked on in the developer map. You'll be able to see what's being worked on and all of the buggy glory that comes with it. I want to do this so that it invites the opportunity for feedback and suggestions as early as possible. »

Le prix du jeu sera-t-il différent pendant et après l'accès anticipé ?

« Yes. It would be unfair to ask for the full price at this early stage of the development cycle. I believe that having a lower price during the early stages also invites the opportunity for a larger player base. End of Days will be competitively priced as well. »
