《SOULS》主打的是文字体验。所以美术和音乐可看做次要元素，不必过分关注。
在此不论及三观问题。单就文字内容而言，作者对于人物的描写确实足够细致，但读来也能明显感觉到“用力过猛”。人物内心戏着墨较多，影响了故事的叙事节奏，使整个文本显得冗长拖沓。故事本身不算恐怖，充满了对人、生命、世界的思考，有一定的深刻性，某些地方亦给人以启迪，但绝不能对其照单全收，一定要批判看待。»

Story:

A sudden rumor starts spreading throughout the school: A monster named the Human Snake was found in an abandoned reservoir. The protagonist, the Boy, who wanted to investigate what was going on, went to the reservoir looking for an adventure. Eventually he meets the monster, and they start to develop a unique relationship. How will their relationship impact the Boy? What exactly is the body of the Human Snake? Unexplainable incidents start to happen around the school campus. All of the incidents are interrelated between the Boy and the monster. What is the truth beneath it all?
