Why Early Access?

“Our vision is to create a virtual reality tower defense game that is easy to learn and difficult to master, fun to pick up and fun to replay. We need you, our community, to make this happen. Early Access allows our community to try out our game and offer suggestions, so together, we can make the game the best that it can be by channeling in your feedback and ideas.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Development length will depend on the financial success of the project. Our Indie Studio is a small one, and we are searching for more people to join our team and publishers to help with the production of the game. Best case scenario, the base single-player game with additional game maps and levels should be done by 2019.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our official release will have more maps, more types of enemies, more random wave system, better flushed-out tower building system, more types of towers, and more magic ultimate powers.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access version has everything you need to enjoy the game, simple VR teleport-locomotion, basic enemy AI, tower building, tower control for shooting, and the ultimate state.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Pricing will be raised after Early Access has ended. We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features. Early Access users will have access to the full version when it is available, as a thank you for being a part of the team that will make this game better.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We release weekly development logs on http://virtualworldarcade.com/crystalreign where you can provide feedback and comments on the game. We will also be active with Steam reviewers as well as Redditors who are interested in helping us make this game the best it can be.”
