Expanding the players beyond beta testers is the next step towards improving The Afterwoods. We're committed to making this the best game possible.

That will depend on feedback, but probably more than a few months and less than a year.

The full version will improve existing levels and the art, fix bugs and improve mechanics. The feedback will drive the direction of the game's development.

The Afterwoods currently has an estimated play time of 5-7 hours in normal mode. There's an auto-save feature, so progress can be saved and levels can be replayed.

A young mage receives a mysterious weapon through an unlikely conjuration when demons invade. The bad news is that no one know how it works. With haste, the mage embarks on a perilous journey to uncover its secrets, find long forgotten magic, gather familiars, and seek the powers to save the realm.

The Afterwoods takes place between a creepy, ever-changing forest and a mysterious castle. As the mage gains experience, skilled combat and smart decisions earn a place among the legends.

The game features kinetic attacks and momentum based movements that are easy to learn, but take practice to master. Good timing, solid kinetics, and creative thinking rule the day.
