«We want to include the community in the last state of development of Machine World 2. The time in Early Access will primarily be used to create more missions and blueprints for use in the game, and the community will get to decide which direction we take the game and the missions in.
Of course, we will also further optimise the game, continue to improve features and fix any issues the community may find.
The community will also get to vote on possible future features: VR or Multiplayer. These are "bonus features" and will be implemented if the game becomes a success.»

«We aim for around 6 months depending on community feedback and requests.

However, the "bonus features" might influence the time table. If (for example) the community feels multiplayer would need more fine tuning or testing. But our goal is to have MW2 exit early access within the indicated time frame.»

«During Early Access, we intend to add more content to the game, as the majority of our development time has been spent creating a solid framework, created machines and the procedural terrain and building engines.

Since the mission system is flexible, and the game allows for players to create content in the form of blueprints, we want to involve the community in the creation of content for the game.
What type of missions would you like? Are there more types of parts you would like to see? Feedback on these things will dictate what direction the game will take in the coming months.

Depending on success in Early Access, we have a roadmap where the community will get to vote on two bonus features: Multiplayer or VR. Both have support in the game but require additional development time.»

«We have already had a high community involvement on our own website for the last 5 years. We plan to continue this presence both on our website and the Steam community hub.
We will engage in discussion with the community and ask for feedback, ideas and requests. We will then attempt to incorporate this feedback in the continued development.»
