Why Early Access?

“Game is in very early stage, We have several directions in mind. Because it's in VR it can be different from PC version. We even can go pure authentic direction, Game may involve in to the interesting colonial era experience. That's why it is very important to start involving community in to the process as soon as possible, while game is still in very flexible state.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are working on PC version as well so it will take some time, But most probably VR version will be much earlier, We are experimenting many things and really trying to be oriented on creating something really interesting to play and experience through virtual reality. So most probably it will take at least year to finish.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our current direction is to create free roaming adventure game with story elements and more linear dungeons. By linear I mean old school linear walkthroughs, more oriented on puzzles, exploration and combat. PC version of this game will be oriented exactly on old school approach and we are very interested to try this spirit in VR as well.

New Weapons?

We have only 18th weapons, We are going to add more unique weapons with sci-fi twist. By unique weapons I mean not only big sci-fi guns that shoot different projectiles, I mean really unique weapons capable of creating very interesting situations in game. For example what if we could have Cloning Gun in game, which can create your clone which will help you in combat but will be turned in to the zombie after a few seconds?

Different types of enemies?

Yes absolutely. We like more Old school approach to this subject as well. Every enemy will have Game play purpose not just visual difference. Right now we have only regular zombies. Even zombies will get upgrade in to the very interesting thing, which is by the way is coming in next update.


More Authentic Weapons

Yes, that is what we are trying to do here, We need to make action intense game with 18th century weaponry. We all know that thous weapons are Super Cool but also they are super slow. So now we are just doing lots of experimentation to make them more game friendly but not losing real charm they had.
However In any case, We will have full authentic mode for reloading weapons. Especially in VR it's good to do things like this.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It's very early state, We only have Zombie survival mode and 18th century weaponry implemented. It's already fun to hod old muskets and sabers in hand, But it's only the beginning.

We can freely say that current build is just an Apitiser. For players to experience old weapons and just a small chunk of boston we are building.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We really count on good involvement of community, We have our direction but in VR everything we do is the first time for us and we already found not all conservative approach to game design is the same for both PC and VR. We even think that VR version can be dramatically different then PC version.

Who knows maybe LIBERTY can be good foundation for more authentic american revolution game.

That's why we are starting Early access in the most flexible state of the game.”
