About This Series

Television series based on the two "Beastmaster" feature films about a world where barbarism and magic rule and Dar the Beastmaster uses his telepathic powers to communicate with animals, including his feathered and furry companions: Sharak, the eagle; Ruh, the tiger; and Kodo and Podo, two mischievous ferrets. Dar goes in search of his childhood sweetheart after his village is destroyed. Along the way, he helps people deal with all sorts of problems with the aid of his animal friends and Tao, his clumsy alchemist companion.
