“Relic Hunters Legend is an upcoming top-down looter-shooter from Brazil-based developer Rogue Snail being created for PC, available via Steam in Early Access beginning on September 25, 2023. Relic Hunters Legend features exciting, fast-paced gameplay, a variety of powerful equipment and weapons with tons of customizable options. The diverse cast of rowdy Rebels each boast different skills and abilities that players can fine tune to match any playstyle.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our focus is to make sure that development has the time it needs to produce the best experience of the game possible. We have a lot planned for the full release, and will continue to add content in the coming months!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Here at Rogue Snail, we are excited to share that we’re already busy crafting even more content releasing in the 1.0 update! Our plans include additional Hunters joining the roster of playable characters, the EPIC conclusion to the story, and more! These additions have been in development for a while, and we’re putting in extra effort to make sure they’re where we want them before they become part of the game.

Throughout the Early Access period, we’ll be gathering feedback through surveys, community discussions, player data, and other avenues to make informed decisions on future content. This information will be important in improving features and adding new features to make Relic Hunters Legend the best game in the Galaxy!

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Relic Hunters Legend goes into Early Access with the first two Acts to explore, a ton of loot and gear to collect, five unlockable Hunters to play, and eight different types of missions to play with friends or other players across the Galaxy. It’s a robust introduction to the world we are developing, and a great jumping off point for the content we’ll be adding further into development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Players have various ways to get into Early Access such as getting the Rebel Edition, upgrading with the Heroic Content Upgrade Pack, or picking up everything at once with the Legendary Edition that includes a digital comic book, character skins, and more. How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ve always had a community-focus in the development of Relic Hunters Legend. We believe that seeing how players respond to the game and interact with other community members will help us make the best version of the game possible. We have done various Closed Betas with our Founders on Discord and received a ton of great feedback around those. It’s a conversation we’re continuing to keep open!

Relic Hunters Legend is a fast-paced looter-shooter RPG where you collect powerful weapons, upgrade skills, and battle enemies in intense combat. Play solo or team up in a 4-player co-op as you embark on a journey to recover lost memories and take down the tyrant Duke Ducan.

A Thrilling Looter-Shooter RPG Adventure

Relic Hunters Legend is a looter-shooter RPG combining fast-paced gunplay, a vast arsenal of weapons, and deep character customization. Defeat enemies, collect rare loot, and refine your build to become an unstoppable force against the Ducan Empire!

Customize Your Hunter

Choose from multiple playable characters, each with unique abilities. Each of the playable Hunters has 3 fully-realized Skill Trees that you can mix and match as you please, and combined with Attribute point allocation, several Gear and Weapon slots with a deep affix pool, plus a build-defining Relic that you must discover, craft and level up… there’s a LOT more RPG depth here than at first glance!

Play Your Way

Play as an offline single player or team up with up to three friends in an online co-op. You can focus on the 30-hour Story campaign right from the get-go… or ignore it COMPLETELY and just focus on progression and endgame systems!

Unlock Hunters in any order you want, and explore the world and its many rewards and challenges in any way you see fit.

Fast-Paced Combat, Endless Loot

All activities are fully playable solo and scale for up to 4-players, including mini open-world Exploration areas, several fast-paced Missions with 7 different Game Modes (Skirmish, Excavation, Payload, Defense, Distraction, Rift, Assault), time-limited Special Missions with random modifiers, Delve dungeons with several bosses (each with their own unique drop tables), as well as endgame Treasure Maps, Asteroid Dungeon Nemesis, and Challenge Mode systems.

The rain of loot does not stop there, though: you can also befriend different Factions and complete Reputation Quests from them, as well as access NPCs who can help you craft the perfectly-rolled Gear or Weapon for your build!

Items are not a shallow “gear score fest”, with many different High-End rarities (Exotic, Augmented, Set, Legendary and Unique) and a deep affix pool that can and will change your playstyle completely!

The Story

The evil emperor Duke Ducan has somehow stolen the past and tells everyone that he is responsible for everything good that has ever happened – providing legitimacy to his oppressive galactic regime.

The Relic Hunters, led by Pinkyy, travel around the Galaxy looking for ancient ruins and Relics of the old civilization, trying to restore the memory of the true Past. In this journey, the crew meets a mysterious ally: Seven, who has no memories and the strange ability to travel back and forth through time.
