Miksi Early Access?

We have decided to involve our Steam audience during development as we shape and polish the game into the final product.

The ability to have discussions with an active Steam community and receive feedback which we can act upon before completion will be an extremely rewarding process and direct the game towards a much stronger release! With a much wider audience to test with; we will make far better progress working on general gameplay features, difficulty balancing, online leaderboards, steam integration, performance optimization, anti-cheating and bugs.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We are planning 4 to 8 months of Early Access, however this is open to change.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

There is not much more to add to the core of the gameplay experience, however some features could change entirely or receive significant modifications! Gameplay, graphics and sound will continue to be improved and there is more features planned, such as a complete soundtrack, a hardcore league, more controller options/gamepad support and more to come!

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

AEGIS 2186 is fully playable with the majority of features already implemented! You can play the game and compete on the Steam leaderboards!

There may be bugs and compatibility issues across the wide range of hardware/software setups we are opening the game up to.

There will also be regular leaderboard wipes during Early Access so don't get too attached to your highscore!

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

AEGIS 2186 will remain at the current price forever.

The year is 2186 - a decade after The Event and the discovery of the Trigons; a previously invisible and extremely advanced other-dimensional species inhabiting our solar system. In response, The Moon has been transformed into an defensive weapon of unlimited power called Aegis, you alone must operate this weapon efficiently and strategically to prevent the inevitable destruction of Earth!

Charge energy bullets of colossal size and power and destroy enemy ships before they reach combat range! Utilize nuclear cluster missiles and manage your energy and shield levels tactically to survive. Defeat enemies to gain power as the real bulk of the enemy fleet arrives with their far more formidable ships. The enemy is brutal and unforgiving, there won't be a single moment to rest and a single strategic error could lead to Earth's demise!
