Why Early Access?

“Our team was focused from the start on the weapons handling, because shooting realistic guns at virtual targets is awesome. Our mission is simple: Provide a range of realistic weapons and let people compete in challenges ranging from basic to violent to crazy. The game is very easy to pick up, but because of the competitive aspect fun to replay.

Because levels are short, we can focus on delivering a polished game experience. This also makes community participation realistic, as we can incorporate community suggestions rapidly.

The individual target challenges are fairly short and we will be able to add complete finished new challenges regularly.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Master Shot VR will be in Early Access for ~9 months, with an approximate release of March 15th 2018.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We are aiming for 3 difficulty levels: beginner, intermediate and pro. Each features 3-4 weapons and 18 total challenges.

Here are some of the key features to be added:

- turn based multi-player head to head target challenges
- new more challenging drone targets
- new attackers with better ai
- new challenges with more aggressive attackers, props and obstacles
- gun inventory allowing users to own and store guns with a playground level to test them”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The above mentioned easy level is complete with 4 weapons, 15 challenges and 3 bonus challenges. Master Shot VR is fully playable and Steam Leaderboards are integrated.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes we would start at $ 7.99 and move to $ 11.99 after release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a full time Community Manager and as mentioned have specifically structured the development process towards incorporating community suggestions as much as possible. Due to the more competitive and less narrative driven nature of Master Shot VR, it makes perfect sense for us to let our user input drive some of the challenges and survival scenarios. Please send us your suggestions, we will respond to everything.

At a later stage we'd also love to incorporate Steam Workshop.”
