What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early access is valuable so that we can get feedback from players to iterate and improve the experience. We are happy with the current state of the game, but we don't view it as a final product, so we've decided to put it up for Early Access. The game is free and will continue to be free, so ultimately marking it Early Access is important to indicate that we want to make a bigger experience down the road with more smashable items, weapons, power-ups, etc. Instead of releasing it later in the development process, when it is a larger experience with more features, we think that now is the perfect time to allow people in the VR community to test it in order to help us iterate on the experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“6-9 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“This is contingent on feedback from players e.g. we are interested in learning how players would like to see the game adapted. We have lots of ideas for features that we can implement, but we want to interact with the community and observe what they like most about the current iteration as well as listening to players' feedback. The more interest we get in the game, the more likely it is that there will be further development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It's ready for Public Beta. The game is a complete experience, but has a limited amount of smashable objects, and doesn't have the final level of polish that we would like to eventually see in the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. The price will remain free forever.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to be very involved with the community, working with them to figure out what new features they might be interested in and interacting as much as we are able. We will have a specific email address for players to contact us and we plan on reading as much player feedback as we can. We are releasing this game for free to encourage lots of people to try it so that we can grow our community.”
