Eye in the Sky is an asymmetrical local co-op escape room where a VR player and a Computer player solve puzzles from different perspectives. The goal is to share information from each perspective and overcome the obstacles on a journey to the center of a post-apocalyptic robot planet.

Patchnotes v1.1 - Bonus Levels!

Hey everyone, we're back with another patch! And this one is a big one, so let the download roll in, or turn on auto-updates if you didn't receive it yet!



Bonus Levels
  • We have added a new feature in the menu! The Bonus Levels window allows us to add new levels to Eye in the Sky when we think we've come up with something cool in our spare time!

BL_Amazing
  • Added the bonus level "Amazing" (obviously)
  • developer's note: "Amazing" is an attempt at making something a bit different. It's less escape-roomy like most levels in the campaign and more to the point with only one or two main puzzles. The main goal for me was to make sure both VR and PC would have to communicate a lot to get through this, and I think it definitely works. Can you make it through without losing a single Light to the invisible lasers? :) Muahaha!

Sewers_2
  • Added a sign to make sure people read the symbols from left to right
  • Adjusted the symbol buttons to have the same orientation as the Light's symbols
  • Small adjustment to the pipe-jump part at the end of the level

Sewers_3
  • The barrel-jump distances across the water have been shortened

Sewers_4
  • Added a hidden sign to clarify how the ending of the level should work

Patchnotes v1.0.2

Hey all, just another couple of fixes headed your way!


InnerCity_1
  • Fixed an issue which would cause huge framerate spikes when moving an item through a laser receptor
  • Fixed an issue in which the pc player could move through the containment unit
  • Added an invisible wall so pc players won't prematurely enter the side room
  • The password squares should now properly reset
  • Improved the password hint note
  • Made the big barrel jumps for the pc player easier
  • Tweaked a few textures which were outdated

About This Game

This game requires a HTC Vive or Oculus Rift + Touch and a second human (both not included). Currently only features local co-op.




Eye in the Sky is a large asymmetrical local co-op escape room for VR.
Take up this challenge of perspectives and communication with a friend (or enemy, we won't judge). Traverse a post-apocalyptic robot world from two different view points and help each other solve the puzzles that lay ahead.

The VR Player takes on the form of the "Eye". Interacting with objects in the world from a birds eye view and guiding the "Light" to help find pieces to the puzzles they have to solve.

The PC Player will be the "Light". A small robot, seemingly insignificant but essential for the "Eye". Venturing into the nooks and crannies of the world where the "Eye" can't reach, the "Light" can gather information, guide the "Eye" to hidden areas and collect vital parts of each and every puzzle.

in a 2m x 2m area (If you can't reach something it's probably the PC players task to get there!)
