Why Early Access?

“Still working out assets, gameplay, and the user interface / interactions. Xark is currently in a free alpha until the content justifies a price tag, which may be some time away.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Until it has a breadth of content that can make for an engaging experience and last for multiple hours.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“There will be a significant increase in content. We're expecting a game that should take about an hour and thirty minutes to get through if everything goes perfectly for the player, but we expect it to take much longer before the average player is able to get a "perfect run".”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early alpha. At the initial time of release, the game has only been in development for around a month.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Suggestion threads on the steam community, regular reddit interactions, and comments in devlogs will all be used in the design and development of the game. We might even be open to volunteers who want to help create it.

Understand that this is currently an Alpha, and as such we are letting people play for free. Expect there to be some bugs, issues, and an underwhelming amount of content for now.

    Minimum:
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM
    • VR Support: SteamVR. Room Scale 2m by 1.5m area required
    • Additional Notes: Requires at least minimum requirements for the Vive. More details coming soon.
