What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are largly ambitous with what we want in a "Full Release". Namely 9+ regions, a complete story mode and seperate overworld, complete with a large veriety of creatures and NPCs. And on top of that, being playable with your friends. We know this will take a long time would like people to be able to enjoy the game before it is fully completed. Think of Minecraft while it was in alpha/beta.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Likely over 10 years. This is extremely difficult to say. We don't hire for the most part, so developers come and go. Nearly everyone working on it currently has a full-time job.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We will keep updating early access until we feel ready to say we have a complete product, so the full version once ready, will just be early access version. It's a linear process, not two different releases.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“I'd say we are in alpha. We have a game that works, but is largly buggy. We are focusing on the starting region, Nature, and the primary gameplay mechanics (and a bunch of feature-creep mechanics, I can't help it)”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, we don't plan to change the price when moving from Early Access to Full Release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a Discord. We plan to post regular updates to the game there as well as get community feedback.”
