Varför Early Access?

“Skunkape Interactive is releasing DEADLOCK as Early Access because the landscape of Virtual Reality games is rapidly changing. We want to provide gamers with an enjoyable and challenging VR experience now, rather than later. We also want suggestions from the VR community for features and improvements. After all, the game will be played by gamers, not developers.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We are not sure. There are many features we want to add, and whether or not we develop them will depend on how much interest is shown by the Steam community.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The full version of DEADLOCK is expected to contain more weapons and enemies (including melee weapons and enemies designed to play well against them), more maps (with more unique waves) and most importantly, Boss Fights. Other features further down the roadmap are online leaderboards, co-op, challenge modes and random wave generation. However the roadmap is a fluid document that will be revised according to what the community expresses the most interest in.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The current version of DEADLOCK includes 4 fire modes (low caliber bullet, high caliber bullet, plasma, and heavy beam) and a defensive energy shield. 3 enemies (Tactical Troopers, Attack Dogs, and Drones) with different sub-types (e.g. Shotgun Trooper) all of which are designed from the ground up for VR gameplay . This version of the game includes 1 map with 20 unique waves.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“This depends on the extent to which the game increases in content and value.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We want feedback from the community regarding all aspects of the game and how we can make it better, more fun, challenging and high quality. We want bug reports, we also want suggestions for weapons, enemies, maps, modes... anything you can think of! This is a VR game for the VR community and early access gives us the opportunity to find what that community really wants.”
