Miksi Early Access?

As of right now the core gameplay mechanics of Tails are done.
There's still a long way to go in terms of creating content and adding variety. We have a lot of ideas for new game modes and ways to make our game even more engaging.
VR is a new medium and we want to involve the community from the beginning to help us explore what works and what doesn't.
Early access is a great opportunity to get feedback and to test the game in ways that wouldn't be possible otherwise.
If you want to be involved in the development process and have an impact on the final product, then early access is for you.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We expect the game to be in early access for 2-3 months.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

We plan to add a "Survival" mode in the final game.
This will be the main part of the game and will feature a lot more variety and challenge in the form of new pickups, powerups, fireballs and even enemies!
We're also planning on implementing progression, unlockables like new skins and environments during early access, Steam leaderboards, achievements and trading cards.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Right now the game is fully playable and features two different modes: a "Zen" mode and a "Time Attack" mode.
"Zen" mode is the most basic game mode in Tails. The rules are simple. Grow the dragons tail as long as you can by eating lanterns and avoid hitting the tail. The mode is ideal for practicing or relaxation.
In the "Time Attack" mode, there are unique lanterns with different challenges. Collect as many as possible while not letting the timer run out or hitting the tail. Each lantern pickup gives you some amount of extra time and points and builds up a combo multiplier – keep it going to get a massive highscore!

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

The price will increase slightly when the game is finished.

We're a small team working on the game so we would love to hear new and creative ideas from the players, as community feedback is invaluable to us. Discussions will be taking place on the Steam forums.
