What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access gives Midas Touch Games the opportunity to build Fist of Physics with help from Steam's VR amazing community. As we develop the full game, we will be providing advance details to our audience, gathering feedback, and considering their interests and concerns at every step in our process. We're very excited about the current state of the game, and we are eager to share that with fellow VR enthusiasts.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are expecting the game to be in Early Access for approximately four months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“At launch, the EARLY ACCESS version of this game features three robots to battle in a single environment, over the course of fifteen increasingly challenging matches. Four different weapons - fist, axe, hammer, and sword - will be unlocked as the player makes their way through the matches.

The FULL VERSION will feature six robots to battle, multiple environments, a leaderboard, and more weapons.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The EARLY ACCESS version of Fist of Physics will give players a good sense of the look and feel of the game, though at launch, it will be less than 50% complete from a content perspective.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“EARLY ACCESS is the best time to buy Fist of Physics, since it will be priced at less than 50% than the full release price - and EARLY ACCESS customers will get all content updates at no additional cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Midas Touch will be providing weekly updates to the game's community, and we will be reading and considering every bit of feedback from players that we receive. We will always be upfront and transparent with our player base, and we will strive to deliver a gameplay experience that they will love.”

About This Game

Punch a robot in the face! It’s 2037. Robots are running wild in San Francisco, and you need to stop them. Fight through multiple rounds against different opponents to save the city. Fist of Physics uses Midas’ cutting edge VR physics engine to let players literally reach out and touch their opponent. No cheesy canned hit reactions and physically inaccurate responses that break immersion; every response and movement looks real and believable.

Choosing from a variety of weapons, the player can use their own body with the Vive controllers to engage in brutal combat. Each opponent has a unique set of moves for the players to learn to anticipate and counter. A variety of weapons enable the player to adapt their combat style to each opponent.
