Why Early Access?

“This is a preview of our full experience.
The plan is to add more modules or domes with different musical and audio integration. We want Polydome to be the best place to play with all aspects of interactive audio. We will try to build in all different aspects of audio creation, from remixing to recording. But this should not be thought of as a new kind of DAW (like Cubase, Pro Tools etc), more than a place to enjoy both audio and music but set in a VR context that cannot be experienced anywhere else. Please feel free to comment and give us feedback or feature requests.”

“Until fall 2016”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Many more modules and interaction modes.
This first dome, is a musical "connecting the dots" thing, where we wanted to explore the spatial and roomscale functionality while creating audio. Finding the balance between creating audio, and just exploring for fun. Next dome will probably be about recording audio using the mic of the HMD, any input or suggestions there would be great.”
