Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« I would like the community to be involved with shaping this game. Using the dice as player attributes is a new idea as far as I know and I would like the community to help make this game fun and challenging but not so challenging that it is not fun. This requires careful balance and a lot of feedback from experienced and interested players.  »

« 2 to 3 months »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« I plan to have 50 total levels in the full game. In the full game I plan to add 100 total pieces of gear, 100 different types of dice, dozens of consumable items, and 100 different enemies or bosses in 10 different environments (tile sets). The enemies, gear and dice will have special attributes and effects to add complexity to the battles. I also might add additional room types. »

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« There is a playable demo ready of level 1 to 5 with 5 enemies, 5 bosses, 10 pieces of gear, some items, and multiple dice. Players can battle enemies and explore all of the room types (shop, secret room, treasure) that will be available in the full game.  »

Le prix du jeu sera-t-il différent pendant et après l'accès anticipé ?

« The demo game will be free during early access and then the game will cost full price upon release of the full game. »

Comment comptez-vous impliquer la communauté dans le processus de développement ?

« I will publish Development Logs and interact with the community on the dedicated Max Diceman Discord server as I add new content or features and then hopefully the community will provide feedback in the same Discord forum. I plan on this being an iterative process so I can release new content and features based on community feedback. I am looking forward to involving the community in adjusting the playability and difficulty of the game as this new concept using dice as player attributes could use some fine tuning.  »

Max Diceman is a 2D top-down roguelike RPG adventure game with a new mechanic - rolling 3D dice in battles and using those dice to change your powers at any time! 

Explore each randomly generated level to gather powerful dice, gear, and items on they way to uncover Max's story and defeat the horde's of enemies that stand in his way!

  • Collect over 100 D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, or D20 dice with unique powers and effects

  • Move dice to different slots to give you an edge in battle or activate magic abilities

  • More than 100 rare tide-turning pieces of gear - weapons to arm and equipment for your head, body and feet

  • Gather powerful items to restore health and magic or give you an advantage in battle

  • Battle over 100 enemies and bosses that can have rare dice with special powers to obtain
