This demo contains the prologue of Akiba of time.

The year is 2036. Akihabara.

Shu Hoshino, a young otaku, only wants to protect his ordinary but happy daily life: visiting otaku shops, searching for rare Kotoha Akiba merchandise, and bickering with the AI girl idol who has accompanied him for seven years.

But then, a mysterious scar-faced man wearing clothes similar to his own suddenly appears.

A phone call in Korean. A drink left behind. A street speech by the Prime Minister. A sudden gunshot. And two identical scar-faced men.

Before he realizes it, Shu Hoshino is caught in a conspiracy that crosses timelines.

In the end, he learns an impossible truth—

The demo ends at the reveal of the first major mystery. The time-spanning operation, the fate of Akihabara, and the true battle of Shu and Kotoha will unfold in the full version.

Akiba of time is a science-fiction visual novel centered on Akihabara, an AI idol, and the butterfly effects of time.

The year is 2036. Akihabara.

Shu Hoshino is an ordinary otaku who loves “Kotoha Akiba,” an AI girl idol who has long since faded from the spotlight. He also loves Akihabara itself — a town that is slowly losing the colors of anime, games, and otaku culture.

An assassination attempt on the Prime Minister suddenly drags him into a time-spanning operation from the future. The future of war is rewritten, but Akihabara is pushed toward another kind of destruction.

The streets once filled with anime, games, figures, maid cafés, and otaku culture are about to be swallowed by the unstoppable tide known as “progress.”

This is a story about protecting what you love.

Shu Hoshino has no extraordinary intelligence, no outstanding physical ability, and none of the qualities needed to become a hero.

He is simply a socially awkward and timid otaku, swept up by the currents of the era.

All he can rely on is his obsession with Akihabara — and the AI girl idol who has always been by his side.

And when everyone believes that change is inevitable, he must make a choice:

To weep alone, or to reclaim the glory that was lost.

This is not simply a story about saving the world.

It is a story about an ordinary person rebelling against an unavoidable future in order to protect what he loves.
