Miksi Early Access?

Early Access provides us with the chance to work alongside the community to improve Network Engineer and ensure the most enjoyable experience. Network Engineer is a massive undertaking in managing, simulating and designing the ultimate in technical gaming and player input towards mechanics, balance and content will directly affect the full release of the game. We want to mold the game according to player desires throughout the development of the game and turn Network Engineer into the definitive system simulation that the hardware, networking and business strategy player demands.

- Physical Economy: Introduce manual purchasing of hardware via stores or deliveries, adding depth to resource logistics.
- Expanded Service Contracts: Negotiate high-value deals and tailor service levels to diverse client needs and challenges.

The Early Access version of Network Engineer includes basic gameplay mechanics which set the stage for the simulation’s fundamentals:

- Farm Environment: Beginning your activities in a farm environment.
- Base Building: Building necessary structures such as buildings, racks, routers, and power management systems.
- Basic Economy: Managing finances while reinvesting in upgrading equipment and expanding base.
- Hardware Installation: Installing necessary components like racks, switches, routers, and servers in building networks.
- Customer Management: Using a dedicated panel to manage clients’ needs and increase reputation.
- Basic Power Management: Making sure that all hardware is properly powered, with further development planned in upcoming updates.

In Network Engineer, all of the tech behemoths begin small – so do you. With just the barest necessities – namely barns, some computer equipment, and aspirations. It is up to you to construct a digital empire from scratch. Starting off with a fledgling company offering its services for hosting on a humble farm with modest server capabilities, it will soon grow into a full-fledged operation supporting complex networks for its clients.
