Confections & Conversations is a cozy bakery simulator about baking sweet treats, managing a small business, most importantly getting to know a cast of colorful customers, and helping guide them through heartfelt conversations all in a modern isekai fantasy world.

The game contains depictions of death, grief, murder investigations, and the afterlife (including hell) within a fantasy setting. In the opening cutscene, the main character is hit by a truck before being reincarnated into an urban fantasy world, where the bulk of the game takes place.

The mature content is (mostly) presented through dialogue alone. Player is encouraged to participate in gossip-style conversations involving themes such as dating, infidelity, smoking, alcohol consumption, gambling, LGBTQ+, identities, law enforcement, and themes of adulthood.

The law enforcement dialogue contains references to police investigations and day-to-day operations involving theft, property damage, missing persons, police corruption and a murder case.

The queer centric dialogue contains depictions of and discussions surrounding and (in support of) LGBTQ+ identities, transgender characters, and related social themes and rights.
