About This Game

Where Discovery Becomes Strategy

Galactum Meridian is a research-first space strategy game about leading humanity’s first deep survey beyond Sol.

Command the ISA Far Horizon, a deep-survey cruiser sent into nearby star systems where the map is incomplete, the data is uncertain, and every discovery changes what comes next. You are not here to paint borders across space with fleets. You are building the first working picture of humanity’s interstellar future.

Explore A Galaxy That Begins With The Real One

Galactum Meridian begins with real astronomical structure: nearby stars, confirmed exoplanet data where available, and catalog-backed system information drawn from sources such as the NASA Exoplanet Archive and other astronomy datasets.

But this is not a dry simulator. Known science gives the galaxy its backbone.  From there, the game layers survey results, modeled possibilities, strange worlds, and speculative discoveries into systems you can investigate.  Galactum Meridian brings in more than 10,000 actual stars from current star catalogs for you to travel to and investigate, updated frequently as new data becomes available.

Some things are observed. Some are inferred from what we know. Some are fictional, mysterious, and waiting for your expedition to discover them.

Lead The Far Horizon Expedition

The Far Horizon is more than a marker on a star map. It is your mobile observatory, laboratory, probe carrier, mission hub, and lifeline.

Survey star systems. Inspect planets and moons from orbit. Deploy probes, landers, rovers, and specialized field packages. Follow up on unusual readings. Turn raw evidence into research, mission priorities, and strategic authority.

Every system is a question. Every world is a record waiting to be discovered.

Science Is Your Tech Tree

Progression runs through the Research Atlas, a 3D branching map of expedition knowledge.

Instead of unlocking generic upgrades from a flat menu, you spend the insight earned from discoveries to improve probes, extend survey reach, strengthen Far Horizon support systems, and open new strategic options.

Geology, biology, climate science, stellar physics, and comparative planetology all matter. The better you understand the universe, the more capable your expedition becomes.

Control Through Knowledge, Not Conquest

Galactum Meridian reinterprets the 4X formula around science, survey rights, publication, and stewardship.

Explore unknown systems. Expand your research footprint. Convert discoveries into useful capabilities. Compete for authority through evidence and expedition presence rather than default empire-war logic.

Territory is represented as a 3D strategic stewardship layer: not just who owns a flat patch of space, but where your expedition has reach, credibility, and recognized scientific authority.

You Are Not The Only Expedition Out There

The ISA has sent more than one expedition into the frontier. Other crews are racing to publish first, secure Stewardship Authority, and shape the official record of what humanity finds beyond Sol.

But the race for scientific credibility may only be the beginning. Some readings do not fit the models. Some worlds preserve evidence that should not be there. Somewhere beyond the catalog data, the Far Horizon may uncover a discovery large enough to change what humanity thinks it knows about life, intelligence, and its place in the galaxy.

What You’ll Do

  • Navigate a readable 3D star map of nearby systems.

  • Survey stars, planets, moons, and more.

  • Work from real catalog data, then push into modeled and fictional unknowns.

  • Deploy probes, orbiters, landers, rovers, and field-study packages.

  • Investigate worlds through orbital views, surface studies, anomalies, fossils, terrain signals, and environmental hazards.

  • Convert discoveries into research through the 3D Research Atlas.

  • Build scientific authority and stewardship across interstellar space.

  • Follow mission briefings, crew records, Accord transmissions, and discovery archives aboard the Far Horizon.

For Players Who Want Space Strategy With A Sense Of Wonder

Galactum Meridian is for players who like space strategy, astronomy, exploration, and the feeling that a map becomes more valuable the more you understand it.

This is not a conquest-first empire game. It is a game about reaching outward carefully, asking better questions, and making hard strategic decisions from imperfect knowledge.

Explore a galaxy that begins with the real one.

Where discovery becomes strategy.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Galactum Meridian was developed with extensive assistance from generative AI tools, under constant and direct human creative direction, review, editing, and implementation.

AI tools were used during development to assist with code, interface iteration, documentation, design exploration, writing drafts, data-processing workflows, and production planning. Some visual materials, including selected artwork, UI-support imagery, concept references, store-page assets, marketing materials, and Steam community assets, may also be AI-assisted or AI-generated and then heavily curated, edited, integrated, or rejected by the developer.

The game uses real astronomical catalog data and authored game systems; generative AI is not used to replace scientific provenance. Observed, inferred, and fictional content are handled as separate categories during development.

Galactum Meridian does not use live generative AI during gameplay. AI has been used primarily as a production and content-development tool, with final decisions, editing, implementation, and presentation controlled by the human developer.
