Textvas is a note app where you place text and images on a board.
From ideas to game-strategy notes, it suits any purpose.
Double-click to start writing right away, and paste both text and images from your clipboard.
We made it out of frustration with the poor readability and cloud dependence of existing apps.

・Free placement

Place text and images anywhere you like on the board.
Double-click to start typing, and paste images and text from your clipboard.
You can also drag items to move them after placing.

・Management with tabs and folders

Manage multiple boards with tabs and organize them into folders.
Duplicating and reordering tabs is supported, so you can sort them by purpose.

・Highly customizable UI

Comes with basic themes such as dark, monochrome, sakura, and notebook types.
Freely choose from the fonts installed on your PC, and adjust the size too.
Customize the look to match your work or your taste.

・UI scale and zoom

The UI size can be adjusted from 100 to 200%. Board zoom can be controlled separately from this.
From 4K monitors to small laptops, it adjusts appropriately to your screen size.

・Export feature

You can export a finished board as an image (png) or text (txt).
Exporting and importing the settings themselves is also supported.

・Touch panel support

Supports swiping and pinch in/out. You can use operations such as zooming, moving, and scrolling.
On tablet PCs and touch-enabled monitors, finger touch operation is also possible.

・Support for running from external devices

Projects are saved with a unique .txv extension.
By registering a project on an external device, you can open it right away.
An icon is included.

・Display any image as the background

You can set your favorite image as the board background.
Game characters, your own illustrations, and more can be specified freely.

・Multilingual support

Supports 29 languages (*UI only).
You can switch in the app's settings.

・Local operation

The app itself runs locally, and project data is saved on your PC.

・Search feature

You can search text within a board. Even from long passages or content scattered across multiple cards,
you can quickly find the spot you are looking for.

・Text decoration

Supports formatting such as text color, underline, borders, and alignment.

・Card connection

You can connect the text and image cards you have placed with arrows.

・Auto-save / Timestamped backups

It auto-saves at the interval you specify. It keeps up to 50 timestamped histories,
so you can revert to a past state.

・Automatic sequential numbering / timestamps

You can automatically add sequential numbers or timestamps to board names. You can also change them manually later.

・Notes and icons

You can add notes onto a board. You can also place preset icons on the board.

・Full-screen display mode / always on top

With shortcut keys, you can hide the top tabs and the side panels.
With the button at the top right, you can pin the window on top.

・Board merging

You can load another project file and merge it with the current board.

The main shortcut keys can be changed by the user.

You can organize strategy notes and charts.
You can place screenshots combined with text.

・Streamers / VTubers

You can use it to manage rundowns and OBS setting notes.
You can adjust the font size and UI size for appropriate readability to suit your environment.

・Cooking streams / recipe management

You can organize ingredients and steps with images. In a touch panel environment,
you can check recipes with swipe operations while cooking.

・Personal diary

You can record impressions of movies, books, and games. Since data is saved locally,
you can keep your records without sharing them externally.

・Solo development

You can manage plans, specifications, and bug lists together in a single file. It can also be used for
idea notes with images and for organizing tasks by process. The developer themselves uses this tool to manage its own development.

・Illustrators / manga artists / designers

You can organize reference materials and character settings with images.
With the sequential numbering feature you can manage workflows such as production steps, and rearrange them later.

・Video / photographers

You can organize and back up equipment setting values, shooting notes, video export settings,
camera settings, and more, with images.

・Novels / scripts

You can manage them divided by chapter or scene. With the sequential numbering feature you can renumber them.
You can manage setting materials in fine detail, and create relationship charts with card connections.

・Task management

By using the completion check feature, it can be used for task management.
