About This Game

One Path & No Escape

C.R.F.T. is a linear visual novel with no player choices or branching paths. You click to advance through a fixed narrative sequence. This design is intentional: the story deals with memory, survivor's guilt, and the impossibility of rewriting the past. Just as the protagonist cannot turn back, neither can you. 

Content Warnings

This game contains depictions of drowning, psychological dissociation, body transformation, and implied death of major characters. 

Controls

Primarily mouse-based: 

  • Click or scroll down to advance the story

  • Scroll up to open the backlog

  • Click the mouse wheel to open the menu for save/load and other functions
