Acerca de este juego

Take the Wheel is a quiet, dreamlike platformer about the things we carry and the comfort we find in keeping going. You are a teddy bear moving through a surreal world. The path ahead is yours — but something is always behind you.

You move through a surreal landscape, collecting scattered music notes and pieces of a broken clarinet — instruments of calm, now fragmented. A shadow car trails behind you, never urgent, always present. The world is soft and strange, somewhere between sleep and memory. The narrator speaks as you move, working through questions they haven't answered yet: what it means to forgive yourself, to stay in control, to keep going anyway. The teddy bear keeps moving. So do you.

• Dreamlike platforming across a surreal landscape — a world that feels somewhere between sleep and memory

• Collect scattered music notes and clarinet fragments — piece together something broken as you move through the dream

• A looming shadow car — always behind you, never urgent — atmosphere, not obstacle

• A narrator working through real things — quiet reflections on control, fear, and what keeps us going

• 1–2 hours — a complete emotional experience, not a grind

After a car accident that left them shaken but unhurt, the narrator finds themselves in a recurring dream. A teddy bear moves through an endless world, collecting the pieces of something whole. The clarinet — an instrument they once played, once found calming — is scattered across the world in fragments. Reassembling it means moving forward. The shadow that follows is not a monster. It is doubt.

If you found something real in The First Tree, or needed a game that let you breathe and feel at the same time, Take the Wheel was made for you.
