About the Developer

Iskarn was born from an obsession.

Hundreds of hours on Rimworld and Going Medieval managing my colonists and fortifying my base. Hordes survived (and plenty of game overs) on 7 Days to Die. And every time, the same thought: "What if I could build all of this block by block, in a real voxel world?"

So I opened a code editor, and I started.

Iskarn is that game, colony management, freeform building and survival, in a 3D world where every block matters. Citizens who live, learn trades, and fight. Walls you place stone by stone before the next attack.

I'm a solo dev. No studio, no team, just me, coffee, my passion and a vision. Every bit of feedback you give truly matters. If this mix speaks to you as much as it does to me, welcome!

Welcome to Iskarn ! a vast, unforgiving voxel world where every block can be shaped, every hill can be mined, and every night could be your last. Lead a small group of settlers through the wilderness, build a colony from nothing, and defend it against the hordes that rise after dark. How long will your settlement stand?

Build Your Settlement

Raise walls, lay floors, and furnish rooms block by block. From humble shelters to fortified strongholds, every building is yours to design. Your citizens' comfort depends on the quality of their quarters: a warm bed, a lit torch, and solid walls make all the difference.

Gather & Craft

Chop trees, mine deep for ores, harvest crops, and smelt metals across 7 specialized workstations. Forge copper and iron weapons, cook hearty meals, weave cloth into bandages, and arm your people for what comes at night. Over 30 recipes to master.

Explore a Procedural World

Every world is unique. Venture through dense taiga forests, dry steppes, frozen tundra, and green plains, each biome with its own resources and challenges. Dig into mountains, carve tunnels, and reshape the land however you see fit. The world stretches endlessly, there's always something beyond the next hill.

Manage Your People

Each citizen is unique, brave or cowardly, hardworking or lazy. Equip them with forged gear, assign them tasks, and watch them live. They chop, build, craft, eat, sleep, and fight on their own. Keep them warm, fed, and sheltered, or lose them to the cold.

Survive the Night

When darkness falls, the dead rise. Zombie hordes assault your settlement in waves that grow stronger each night. Fortify your walls, arm your citizens, and choose your stance, defend behind barricades or charge into the fray. Every sunrise is earned.
