Grillhouse Protocol is a chaotic 1-8 player co-op stealth game where you take on the role of barnyard animals rebelling against their owner. The win condition is simple: study the level blueprint, find the necessary items, use them correctly, and rescue the caged animals. Sounds easy? Try doing it while the local farmer patrols the area and is already firing up his grill!

Escape Plan: Find and Flee

A successful escape requires coordinated teamwork. On each level, you have a blueprint: what items to find and how to combine them. Move through the location stealthily, gather your inventory, and stay out of the owner's sight. If the farmer spots you, drop everything and run, using cover and the terrain to shake off your pursuer.

20 Seconds to a Sausage Finale

If the hunter does catch up to you, the game isn't over. The farmer grabs the poor soul by the legs and carries them to one of the prep stations: a BBQ spit, a circular saw, or a meat hook in the freezer. Your teammates have exactly 20 seconds to come to the rescue and save you. Didn't make it? Your buddy turns into a pack of sausages forever!

Cunning Retaliation

You are not completely defenseless victims! Use your wits and the environment to delay the farmer. Set bear traps, short-circuit electric puddles, drop heavy objects on his head, or even set him on fire. The farmer cannot be killed, but a successful sabotage will knock him out of action for a while, allowing the team to finish their tasks.

Ticket to Freedom

Once all the items from the plan are gathered and used correctly, it's time to bail. The escape method depends on the specific level: you might have to start an old tractor, open blocked gates, or find a secret tunnel. As soon as the path is clear, grab your friends and run for it before the farm owner comes to his senses!

The game contains cartoonish, non-realistic violence and dark humor. Players control animals trying to escape a farmer and can get caught in various comical but deadly traps (such as a BBQ spit, a circular saw table, an electric puddle, or a meat hook). Characters can also be temporarily set on fire or caught in bear traps.
