To the Underground!

Mountains & Molehills is a turn-based, deck-building rogue-like where the earth you dig becomes your cards! Dig through stages and encounter fierce foes ranging from a crying onion to a massive maned lion made of mushroom!

Here's what to expect beneath the ground!

• 3 Unique Attack Classes! Soils, rocks, and gemstones fill in for traditional RPG classes, where what you dig defines your class!

• Hundreds of Relics! A little extra luck, or a total game-changer, these items add some nuance to how your deck gets built! Relics can affect enemy spawns, cards drawn, or even permanently change what a card does!

• Turn-Based Strategy! Encounter up to 4 enemies simultaneously and spend your turn setting up damage-over-time, healing and buffing yourself, or even just launching attack-after-attack! 

• Make Friends! Between battles, meet friendly animals such as the Picnic Mouse, complete with dialogue trees, shops, and a friendship-mechanic that carries over between runs!

• Jot that down! As you find and use attacks and relics, they're added to a Compendium back at the molehill so you can get a better idea of what they do for future runs! 

• Look to the Stars for Guidance! Unlock star-sign 'Aspects' after successful runs that alter what kinds of materials you'll dig up by default so you can embark as a barbarian, ranger, or mage intentionally!

Dig up some Damage!

Digging for soils, mining for stones, and prospecting for gems give you attacks for the melee, ranger, and mage classes respectively! Each material has its own effect, so gather what you can for a great deck!

One Man's Trash is another Mole's Treasure!

Though a lot of it may look like discarded human junk, that's only because... it is. Relics found underground have all sorts of effects from simple stat-ups, to summoning a hoard of angry rats, to making you breathe fire! The combination you find can take a run from good, to great, to BROKEN!

Turn-Based, Terror, and... Turnips?

From a garden full of vicious veggies, to caves of carnivorous fungi, enemies are themed and imbued with personality as a primary design-goal. Tons of animations and unique enemy attack types keep each area interesting!
