Background Story

In the year 2040, Adekunle notices his lab experiments have gone wrong. Some of his autonomous systems are showing signs of sentience. He was initially locked out of the lab by the security systems but had to force his way in. He now has to fight through and destroy the security systems and robots he put in place to deter intruders from entering his lab. He also has to defeat and destroy the main super intelligent robot in his lab, Bamidele.

Gameplay

Lab 2040 is a Sci-fi, first person shooter game where the player combats different robots and drones using various weapons. Weapons include pistols, automatic guns, grenade, time bombs and more. The player can collect energy shields along the way which can protect the player from damage. 

There are 10 main levels which you will have to progress through to get to the final boss, Bamidele. This game is a linear game. The theme of the game is more casual than realistic. The gun play and movement mechanics prioritizes fun gameplay over realism.

Game Mechanics

Game mechanics include the basic FPS controls such as jump, move, look around, lean, crouch, shoot and aim. Your player can unlock different doors using keys, keypads or hack tools. You can collect "charged energy" for your shield which can serve as an armor and save the player from damage. You can pick up different weapons (You can only hold 4 weapons at a time). You can drop weapons you are holding and pick up other weapons.
