Varför Early Access?

“O-COP is a multiplayer social survival horror game, and that kind of game gets better when real players try it together. We want to see how people make choices, work with others, and betray each other things we cannot fully test alone. Early Access lets us watch real sessions, collect feedback, and improve the game based on what actually happens during play. We believe the community should help shape O-COP from an early stage, not just receive the finished product.”

“We expect the Early Access period to last around 12 to 18 months. However, we will not rush the process. The exact timeline depends on how development goes and what the community needs. We would rather take more time and release a better game than push to a full launch before it is ready.”

“The Early Access version gives you the core experience the moving platform, the floor system, survival mechanics, multiplayer with voice chat, and the basic escape goal. The full version will be much bigger in scope.

We plan to add a resource scarcity system, where food on the platform is limited and players on lower floors receive less. This creates real tension and harder choices. We also plan to add player roles with unique traits, so every session feels different depending on who you play as.

We plan to expand the random event system so unexpected things happen each day — changing how players must cooperate or compete. A deeper combat system and more win conditions are also on our list, giving players the choice to survive alone or work together.

Sound design, atmosphere, and overall game feel are areas we plan to improve significantly before full release. All of these goals reflect our current plans, and we will update the community as development moves forward.”

“The current version includes a working multiplayer foundation with Steam lobby support, voice chat, and item trading. Players can explore floors, survive using health, stamina, and hunger systems, collect items, and work toward escaping by finding and assembling machine parts. The platform moves between floors with a daily cycle system.

This is a playable, functional build but it is still early. Some systems are not fully balanced, content is limited, and you may encounter bugs. We are actively working on the game and will release updates regularly.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price as we add more content and features during Early Access. Buying early means you get the lowest price and help support development from the start. When the full version launches, the price will likely be higher to reflect the complete experience. We appreciate every player who joins us during this stage.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Community feedback is a central part of how we plan to develop O-cop. We will use the Steam Discussion board to read player thoughts after updates and share what we are working on. We plan to post regular development updates that explain what changed, what we are fixing, and what is coming next.

We will also use community polls to ask players what they want to see added or improved. For bigger decisions like new game mechanics or balance changes we plan to share our thinking openly and invite discussion before we finalize anything. Your experience in the game matters to us, and we want to build O-COP together with the people who play it.”

O-COP is a multiplayer social survival horror game set inside a towering vertical prison. Inspired by The Platform, it drops you into a world where food is scarce, every floor is a gamble, and the people around you are your greatest threat. You can build alliances, make trades, and plan your escape or you can take what you need and leave others to starve. Every round, the rules are the same. Every round, the outcome is different.

A Living, Shifting Prison

Each day begins with a random reshuffle. Your floor changes. Your neighbors change. A smart descending platform delivers food to every level but there is never enough for everyone. Learn which floors get fed first, and plan accordingly.

Survive on Your Own Terms

Manage your Health, Stamina, and Hunger to stay alive. Sprint when you need to. Eat what you find. Drop too far and you pay for it. The prison does not care how you survive only that you do.

Inventory, Items, and the Soul System

Carry up to three items, pick up and throw objects, and eat food to restore your vitals. Collect wandering souls and sacrifice them at the Pillar to earn Soul Points a currency you spend at the Shop to gain an edge over other prisoners.

Deal, Deceive, or Dominate

Use the secure trade system to exchange items with other players, with a built-in countdown to keep things fair. Talk your way through deals using real voice chat via Steam Voice push-to-talk. Every interaction is a choice between cooperation and betrayal.

Escape or Watch Others Try

Collect Escape Parts scattered across the floors, repair the Assembly Machine, and unlock the exit before time runs out. If you die before you make it out, you enter Spectator Mode switching between survivors as the final round plays out.
