Intrusive Thoughts

You play as Dennis, a man pushed to the very edge by his own mind. He is plagued by dark, intrusive thoughts; his nightmares and visions haunt his every waking moment, and his violent urges seem beyond his control. All he desires is peace, but the knife he wields is a constant, gruesome reminder of his torment; no matter how vigorously he washes it, the unsettling presence of blood never seems to fade.

• The Weight of the Blade: Keep your knife clean. Harming others raises Dennis's anxiety, dragging him into a fractured, alternate version of reality. Only by cleansing your weapon—and your conscience—can you return the world to normal.
